We charge $349 for all bathtub refinishing jobs. There are no hidden charges. And we do the work on-site only.

Fine Finish Shop provides powder and liquid coating refinishing services, electrostatic painting, and bathtub refinishing (including bathtub liner installation and antique bathtub restoration) at our fully-equipped plant located just 20 minutes north of Boston Massachusetts. We also provide electrostatic painting and bathtub refinshing services onsite, at your workplace or within your home.
A powder coating finish is much more durable than paint, and it is more environmentally friendly as well because a powder coating is recyclable and does not require any toxic solvents. Instead, a powder coating is melted onto its surface at about 400 degrees Fahrenheit. This curing creates a much tighter bond with the surface and results in less chipping than you might find on a painted surface. However, if you need a liquid coating, we do that, too. We are a full service finishing shop.
We can powder coat large pieces or small pieces, including jobs with just one piece or many pieces.

About the Powder Coating Process
Powder coating is a way of adding a fine finish, like paint, to any surface that can withstand curing at a high temperature. However, a powder coating finish is much more durable than a liquid coating finish. The powder coating finish begins with finely ground particulate matter that has been mixed with color pigments. The mix is then given a small electrical charge as it is sprayed onto a surface. The charge causes the powder coating particles to adhere to the surface it is sprayed on. The sprayed item is then placed into an oven and baked. During this curing process, the pores of the surface open up and the powder coating material melts smoothly and uniformly onto it.
